Nearby pine and oak tree forests are a delight to walk or cycle through spotting birds, bees, rabbits, flora and fauna plus a popular picnic area and playpark with zipwires and swings etc.

Leisure and public transport

Buses 8 and 11 run from the bus stop opposite the Urbanisation (3 mins walk to bus stop)  into Novo Sancti Petri,  Barossa and on to Chiclana centre every half hour in summer and every hour the rest of the year. From Chiclana you can take buses to Cadiz, San Fernando, Sevilla, La Linea/Gibraltar and to many other local towns.  

Barossa 1st pista is a 10 min drive and Sancti Petri is 15 mins away by bus or car.   In summer you are spoiled for choice for restaurants, beaches and entertainment.

Shops
There is a seasonal carrefour express supermarket 5 mins walk away, normally open from around Easter to the end of October, plus a pharmacy open all year round subject to usual holiday dates.  Around 10  mins drive to El Colorado are various shops, ventas, churreria, ferreteria plus a large carrefour which are open all year round.
